And that was how the world ended; in a flash of light that struck across the sky. Soon, the whole sky was on fire. We were all looking up at it. Amazed. Awe-struck. Terrified.
Everyone immediately began making speculations. It was Iraq or some other mid-eastern country. It was Russia. It was this. It was that. The media, everyone had an idea…and everyone was wrong. It was happening everywhere. Given enough time, I know this would have resulted in the biggest world war in history. Given enough time, nations would have torn themselves apart. But we didn’t have enough time.
They fell out of the sky like a swarm of demons and devils. 7 feet, 10 feet tall. Crushing anything and anyone they landed on.
