Writing Exercise #11: Now, all I need is a screwdriver!

It took me forever to come up with a plan. A strategy. But all good things, right?

I stood at the triple pane glass window that overlooked a rocky cliff and water below. It was a long shot, but I had to take it. Death before dishonor. I never thought of myself as one to commit seppuku, but damn it, I was getting the hell out of here. Four days on nothing but cold, plain porridge waiting to be skinned alive for a crime that, while I committed it, I would gladly do again.

All such executions should be interrupted.

The sunlight flicked the water bringing out the colors of the rainbow as the waves splashed the bottom gently. I looked at the window casing. I was brilliant. Now all I needed was a screwdriver.
